Program:
This 2-day excursion will take you to the vibrant and historical capital city of Havana and to the beautiful landscape of the western province of Pinar del Rio, where the finest tobacco is grown. The first day is dedicated to the exploration of some of Havana’s most famous landmarks followed by an evening at the Cabaret Tropicana; see the “Havana Special” excursion for more details (same program). The next day the journey continues towards the western part of Cuba for a panoramic tour of the city of Pinar del Rio and the visit of a hand-made cigar factory. The next stop is the Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave) for a boat ride on its underground waters. After lunch you will tour the breathtaking Vinales Valley where you’ll visit a tobacco farm. You will then be taken to the Los Jasmines Lookout to admire the stunning landscapes of the valley with its green tobacco fields, its red soil and its "mogotes" formations (rounded steep-hill surrounded by flat plains).

Suggestions on what to wear and bring:
Comfortable shoes and wear (for 2 days), sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, bottled water, camera, cash in small denominations for souvenirs, drinks and tips. For the Cabaret Tropicana: Dress code is Casual Elegance, men are required to wear long pants, closed shoes and collared shirt.
